A Special Day at Riverbanks Zoo

Today Will and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and go the Zoo. It was a great day and suprisingly the Zoo wasn't crowded at all! Here are some pics of our special day! Everything went pretty well until Will shoved his hand in the giraffe's mouth and she nipped him. "Not good".

Hampden Sydney Homecoming!

We had a wonderful time with family and friends this year at HSC Homecoming. Brian was especially a big hit with all of the kids.

A Special Day in Virginia Beach

Before we went to Hampden Sydney's Homecoming in October, Will and I were able to join Brian in Virginia Beach for a few days. Even better, Will and I were able to meet up with my dear friend Sallie Ray for lunch and some fun in an arcade. We had such a good time! Can you believe that Will won enough tickets for these super cool sunglasses?

May May the Halloween Cat

On Monday night, we had a Halloween party with a few friends, so we decided to dress up our yard a little. Will and I made homemade tombstones and May really took a liking to this one. In fact, he liked it so much that I decided to leave the random mound of pinestraw there for him to lay on. (I did take the tombstone and luminary bags away).

The Saturday before Halloween we went to Saluda Shoals Park to enjoy another night of Halloween festivities. Here are some pictures of Will riding the HUGE John Deere tractor, eating a cookie with his gal pal Gracie and later fast asleep in the car!

He was pretty tired! Even when we got home, he didn't wake up & slept until 7:00am the next morning!

Will and the Animals

One thing I've tried to do is raise WIll to love Animals. Here you can see him feeding the pony at the Zoo and "milking the cow".

Last Thursday, Sarah, Will, Brian and I went to Boo at the Zoo and had such a great time! Will absolutely loved it!
