Bark to the Park

Last Saturday, April 17th, was the annual Bark to the Park dog festival in Columbia. I attended with Will, Miss Drake, Amy, Hart, Murray, Elizabeth, Gracie and of course Toby. Although we appear to be quite "together" in this photo, believe me we are not. We missed the entire walk because there wasn't a ramp up to the top of Finlay Park, so we had to walk around the park, up several commanding hills, only to arrive as the walk was finishing. We justified it though, by saying that we still had a fun walk and enjoyed one another's company. Babies and dogs seemed to enjoy the pretty day as well.

This goat really liked Will. At first Will liked him, but you can see here that the goat wouldn't go away. Here the goat is nudging for more attention and Will is "done" petting him.

While in Huntington, WV, Will had the privelege of attending a Petting Zoo at the Guyan Country Club. We had a great time! Especially me. HAHA! There were baby chicks and bunnies, goats, an alpaca, a 2 week old calf, a giant tortoise, a donkey, a porcupine, a pot-bellied pig, a rooster, even a bearcat! That thing was scary. Will loved all of them... except for a huge rabbit. As soon as it came over he started crying like crazy! Thank you Pam & Tim for letting us go to the petting zoo! We had so much fun!
